Why I’m Running
Because it's CRITICAL that the Democratic Party Keeps the 20th!
And to do that we have to nominate someone who can win!
The Republicans are coming for this seat. They've made that crystal clear. And my greatest fear is that they'll take it if we don't put forward a candidate who can beat them decisively!
I respect the current officeholder, but the reality is undeniable: in the August 2025 special election, she won by only 121 votes out of 9,185 cast! That razor-thin margin should be a wake-up call for every Democrat in Sussex County!
And let's not be in denial; in 2026, Republicans will be better funded, better organized, and HIGHLY MOTIVATED.
WE CANNOT LOSE THIS SEAT! The 20th District is too important to our statewide goals, our Democratic values, and the future direction of Delaware.
Republicans Have No Answers, Just Excuses!
- They have no answers on our traffic and infrastructure crisis.
- They have no answers on clean water, coastal protection, or responsible growth.
- They have no answers on healthcare access, senior services, or affordable housing.
- They have no answers on education, on workers' rights, or on supporting immigrant families.
They have no answers on anything that actually matters to the people of the 20th District!
What they do have, unfortunately, is a flood of out-of-state money, well-connected political allies, and national organizations eager to flip any seat they think they can pry away. We've all seen this playbook before!
And Here's What I Believe
I'm running because I believe Democrats must stand united, and must run candidates with real experience, real community roots, and a real understanding of the challenges facing Sussex County.
I'm running because this district deserves a representative who knows what it's like to run a small business, raise a family here, volunteer here, worship here, fight through hardship here, and build a life here.
I'm running because our community needs a champion who will fight for:
- safer roads and smarter infrastructure
- environmental protection and coastal resilience
- better healthcare access across all of Sussex County
- seniors who need support now, not later
- working families struggling to keep up
- the diverse, vibrant communities that make Delaware strong
