Several people of asked what happened to the taxpayer monies that funded The Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence (BASSE). The following letter from the State Board of Education, details that they are still waiting on those answers as well and it is one of the reasons that the charter was revoked.
My opponent ran her first campaign on opening and running a successful charter school. Within the first year we learned that it was not successful and it was soon closed down by the State Board of Education. The investigation continues and perhaps one day soon, the people of Delaware's 20th RD and Sussex County Delaware with get answers. Money has been hidden. The lives of children and their families were upended. This is not what accountability and taking responsibility looks like.
