I've personally canvassed more than 3,600 doors in the past several months. I don’t send others out to do this on my behalf because I believe it’s important to meet voters face-to-face, listen to their concerns, and have meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to them.
Time and again, I’m greeted with excitement because people are happy to finally meet the "Ruby" they’ve seen on the many yard signs my supporters have proudly placed in their front yards and fields.
Don and Jim were especially excited to show me a photo of my rack card that their neighbor, John, texted them after I knocked on his door. His message simply said, "Look who just knocked on my door. I'm so impressed!"
What matters most to me isn't just the warm welcome—it's earning voters' trust. And I'm grateful that these conversations have inspired so many people, including Don, Jim, and John, to support me with their vote.

Peaches by the Beaches Festival was held today at Lewes Fire Department's Station 2. I love helping the Auxiliary. However, I refused to be dunked in the tank. Every bag of peaches and all of the peach donuts and cobblers were gone before it ended. So remember to get there very early next year! ... See MoreSee Less
